We often wonder why our efforts feel fruitless—why we serve, give, and work hard, yet see little return. Haggai reminds us that frustration sets in when we prioritize our own comfort over God’s purpose. The enemy doesn’t need to defeat us—he only needs to distract us. But one word from God, one act of obedience, can reignite what’s been dormant. Now is not the time to retreat or tend only to personal concerns; now is the time to rebuild. The house of God is not finished, and every believer has a place in the work.
