This week the Junior Primary will learn six ways they can recognize how Heavenly Father communicates with them through the Holy Ghost. Children receive a paper with six boxes and draw a picture in each box after watching you act out a different way Heavenly Father can speak to them inspired by great a great Friend article that is linked in the Appendix and HERE.

Senior Primary will try to answer this question: How does being baptized and taking Jesus Christ’s name upon us change the way we live? Turn the classroom into a gallery walk! Students quietly rotate through six posters about baptismal covenants, reading examples and anonymously writing how they can live each covenant in their own lives. This week Junior Primary will play "Mingle to Music" while learning different ways Jesus is a good friend! Each child gets a picture representing a quality of Jesus, practices the phrase “Jesus is a ___ friend,” and then shares it with a new friend when the music stops.

Senior Primary gets interviews by their teachers- reporters from Channel 3 in Galilee. In pairs, children study a picture of something Jesus did, imagine if they were there, and prepare for an interview. They answer questions about what happened, how it made them feel, and what the story teaches them about trusting Jesus.

Do you ever sit down to plan a lesson and wonder where to start?

In this episode, I share the simple 5-step framework that guides my lesson planning and helps me create engaging, Christ-centered learning experiences for children. We'll talk about shifting our focus from "What will I teach?" to "What will my students do to learn?", using effective hooks, helping children discover doctrine in scripture stories, creating opportunities for application and practice, and always connecting learning back to Jesus Christ.

Whether you teach in Primary, youth classes, family scripture study, or another gospel setting, these principles can help you create lessons that invite participation, discovery, and conversion.

My hope is not that you'll copy every idea, but that the Holy Ghost will inspire you with ideas tailored to the children you teach. They are worth our creativity, preparation, and effort as we help them apply the doctrine of Jesus Christ in their own lives!

This week's Come Follow Me lesson for Junior Primary has the kids drawing David getting. help from Jesus to defeat a lion and a bear! Then they apply it to themselves and draw how the Lord can help them with hard things. Senior Primary will be collecting 5 stones from Sister Spannuas' amazing talk about David and Goliath.

Both ideas this week for "Come Follow Me" focus on teaching children how to recognize the Holy Ghost. Junior primary has a special guest, a puppet! He helps the kids understand how he feels the Spirit. The kids get to practice identifying what they feel when they sing songs or look at pictures of Jesus around the room.

Senior Primary kids will get to choose their own adventure! This lesson is all about them choosing their own path, creativity and following the spirit to teach the class about the principle or doctrine in their resource. In partnerships or groups, they read a scripture or paragraph about the Holy Ghost and figure out how to teach it to someone else. Here are the directions you can print out or write on the board so they can refer to them later.

1. Read the resource with your group.
2. Decide on how to teach everyone else to feel the holy ghost or invite him into our lives to the class- Some options: A poem. A role play. A drawing. A diagram. A song.
3. Make sure each person in your group has a job and participates.

Join us for some student led lesson ideas for Come Follow Me! Junior Primary will be knocking down the walls of Jericho with a scripture friend that can help them remember faith and trust in Jesus. Senior Primary will design an ad for "The Friend" magazine trying to help kids remember the blessings of reading their scriptures.
