Salvation is the initial step into our relationship with the Lord. This opens the door for us to accept Him as Lord over our lives, and begins a life long process of us giving our selves to Him in every area of our lives. As we walk on in the footsteps of the pattern Son, we begin to die out to our old nature and take on His nature. As the firstborn son, we too must be pleasing to our Father.

- The very purpose of our being saved was to bring us into a relationship with the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
- As we die out to the old nature we become alive to the Christ nature that is within us.
- We must remember that we are not the one in control, but it is God in us to work out His good pleasure.
- Once you accept the Lord into your life, ownership changes hands and He now owns you.
- We must walk in the footsteps of the pattern son, (Jesus Christ) to become just like Him.
- This walk with Him is not complicated. We must not let our minds or other things complicate our walk with Him.

It is all about the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives and us walking in the footsteps of the first born son. We submit to Him as Lord in our lives, die out to the old nature and receive from Him His nature. We refuse to complicate what God is working out in us as the Holy Spirit leads us each day to proclaim Him Lord!
