Sons of Mosiah preach among the Lamanites. Ammon wins King Lamoni’s trust through service and teaches the gospel. Many, including Lamoni and his father, are converted through the Spirit.

Alma teaches about priesthood, foreordination, and entering God’s rest. The wicked in Ammonihah reject truth and destroy saints, but God’s judgments come swiftly, and the faithful are preserved.

Alma preaches in Ammonihah and is rejected, but returns with Amulek. Together they testify of Christ, the Resurrection, and God's plan of redemption. The people are warned to repent or perish.
