This week is about Christ’s death. I look at scriptures both symbolically and literally since my faith expansion (endowment journey) to gain greater understanding. (Stages of faith development I believe is how the “secular world” describes the endowment). The one thing I noticed was when the women played (will play) their part.

I look at the story of Judas betraying Jesus differently. I think it’s a lesson that we can’t always trust people who look good. We have to use our spirit of truth, follow that over following others.

I believe it’s our personal truth that will bring us the greatest happiness in our lives. Our spirit is what connects us to God. Let your spirit guide😇

Super duper short! I believe we have to lose our pride to allow our Savior to be our servant. Allow Him to wash our feet.

I use the new Oxford annotated bible for easier reading! I connected with Luke 21, I felt like it described my lived experience of my faith crisis. I read my poem “Betrayed”. I am grateful for all who played a role in my life.

I open up about how I view my faith crisis. I went from being acted upon to acting for myself. Free agency and the belief that God will give me all that I want if I believe has given me incredible happiness. I have to forgive and learn to love like him. We all have God’s image on us, we are God’s currency, we are the treasure of heaven.

I saw myself more as a Pharisee and now I am just a humble sinner and because of that I now feel connected to the world. It is harder for a person that is Rich (I say “comfortable”) to enter into the kingdom of God than an camel to enter into an eye of a needle. I believe it’s by discomfort we grow and enter into the kingdom.

Extremely short episode. I share my thoughts on where I placed my focus to bring me to greater happiness.

The message I hear over and over in these chapters… actions are louder than words. Let’s have our actions reflect the actions of our Savior. Once we follow Him we start to hear Him.
