Come Get Sum

In part 2 of my conversation with Lois, we speak about Miscavige and 10 Questions including her messages to family and her son Craig.

Also, The next 2 weeks I'll be talking to Melissa Paris who grew up from the age of 5 in a Cadet Org suffering mental and physical abuse witnessing much worse. In the hours following our recording, A private Ex forum and her personal Instagram were hacked by perhaps OSA (Scientology "Office of Special Affairs") in a attempt to cause infighting and discord using Melissa's posts and attacking Leah Remini. I personally witnessed all of this. In light of these events Melissa will be on this show as well for a short talk about what happened and why on this busy show!.

Was there supposed to be a single successor to L Ron Hubbard? How much does it cost to "prove" your loyalty to a Cult so you can keep your family? Find out the answers to all these questions and more on this edition of Come Get Sum!!

In 2007 I knew Scientology was some kind of new age religion. I figured it was harmless, who cares if they want to believe in some crazy Sci Fi stuff? Then I saw the BBC Panorama film Scientology and Me with John Sweeney and boy was I wrong! This documentary, Lisa Mcpherson, Going Clear and Leah Remini all led to me doing this very podcast. For me and many others speaking against the methods, pain and the destruction of Scientology...it starts with John Sweeney.

Also, Clearwater does right by it's residents and my odd visit to the Orlando Scientology Org.

Did John know just how aggressive Tommy Davis would be? Was Scientology cause for more PTSD than being behind enemy lines under cover? Will I remember "Tommy Davidson" is that comedian from In Living Color and start using the proper name for Tommy Davis? If a Wog goes to an Org and there's no one there to hear it is he still knocking on glass?

In August of last year I spoke to my first ex Scientologist Cathy Shenkelberg. She has been an Actress, Voice Actress and stage Actress but in this instance she was the every girl.Speaking with her made those things you wonder about much more clear and connected the dots. I thought after speaking to her I understood Scientology. I was wrong.

Cathy has been touring with her One Woman Show Squeeze My Cans since then and brought her show to Tampa FL. I finally got to see it.This is my brief review of that show!

Did the show live up to expectations? Was there a dry eye in the room? Do I understand Scientology now?

The answer to these questions and more will be answered on this episode of Come Get Sum!!!!

Reza Asian addressed Independent Scientology on CNN Sunday to the dismay of many. He called many of his moments on that show "firsts" including telling the side of independents. I of course, started this interview Friday. That wasn't all he got wrong! I'll address it here!

Also Dave addresses a disturbing passage in Dianetics that I and others consider to the basic ideaology that makes Scientology a Cult. He also addresses the idea of alternative religions to Scientology and in an awkward moment shows animosity towards Tony Ortega and Mike Rinder. Then 10 Questions.

After the interview I'll give my overall assessment and a preview of what's coming up next for the show!!

Is Reza correct in stating the difference between most religions and Scientology is one is older? Was LRH OK with pedophiles? Does Dave think I'm a bigot? Will my post interview words change his mind? Find out the answer to these questions and more on this Two day early Extra edition of Come Get Sum!!!
