Emily Dickinson said, “I am out with lanterns looking for myself.” Hopefully, we let the light shine on the areas that reveal the real us and keep the other wild animals in their cages. If and when that lantern dims, we need others to ask us, “Do I Know You?” We may ourselves be the ones that are surprised when we reappear.
