Often we see opulent people depicted within a jet set lifestyle, in the words of Kanye “police escorts, everybody passports, this the life that everybody asks for. This a fast life, we are on a crash course.” 💎💰

But we hear less about CEO’s, moguls and entrepreneurs having a fulfilling and consistent home life. In fact many times their home / work balance is totally off. ⚖️

We are marketed the “level up” life, ‘become richer faster, Gucci up and boss it.’ ⚜️
We’re encouraged by the media to have an insatiable appetite for material things or status, but at what cost? 💔

This week it was reported that Bill Gates and his wife will divorce this year. Being one of the wealthiest men in the world, with a net worth of about 130 BILLION dollars, it could be argued that money doesn’t buy you love - or happiness for that matter. 🙈

So in this episode, we talk about the disadvantage of comparison and how it baits us into competitive and superficial mindsets. 📉

How time is the most valuable asset we can possess or give to loved ones, and how rich we’d want to be! 🤑

Who doesn't love to be loved? We LOVE love at CSWU but have been guilty of mistaking adoration for it in the past! This week Chess & Minnie chat about Lydia leaving the podcast, what it's like to be addic(k)ted to affection and tips for anyone questioning if they really love their partner! A fun episode (which to be honest is more like an eavesdropping sesh on our phone calls) that we have been dying to talk about for aaaaages! Do you fnid yourself seeking approval from others above yourself? This weeks episode is a VERY special one that includes a SURPRISE announcement that even the CSWU girls didn't see coming! Often we find ourselves run down, with little time to ourselves and maybe a lighter bank balance because we feel we need to put others first. So often we find it hard to say no and choose ourselves, why is that? We're thinking it's because we give too much of a fuck about what others need and not enough of a fuck about OUR needs! Don't worry, here at CSWU we're ALL FOR making moves for the greater good, helping out a friend in need and being conscious of the collective. But not at the expense of yourself and your boundaries! Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup! We discuss times when we've been too keen to people please, stayed in our old stories or stayed in the boxes of others expectations and how it has been at times detrimental. To give us a gentlemanly helping hand with this, we are proud to announce a NEW SPECIAL FEATURE for CSWU - The Male Correspondent!
A male friend of the pod is joining us when appropriate, to give HIS thoughts on the weekly topics and to open the convo up between men & women and there isn't a more appropriate episode for his debut. The rhetoric is currenlty very divisive between men & women and is dangerous territory. We are all on the same team, and in our opinion, it's simply "dickheads vs soound people" rather than men vs women. 

  With the media teeming with content about violence against women, and the horrendous tragedy of Sarah Everard shocking the UK, we couldn't justify NOT doing an episode on something that each one of us struggles with, no matter how uncomfortable. The reality is that too many women are lost to domestic violence, are rape survivors and nearly 1 in 3 women are victims of assault at the hands of men according to the UN Health Agency and W.H.O. Too many times this is normalised and put under the umbrella of "boys will be boys", or the WOMEN shouldn't put themselves in vulnerable situations, and THAT is what we at CSWU call; utter bullshit. Minnie is the fiery host of this episode, with emotions on the surface and unapologetic opinions, she and the girls open their hearts and shut down their tolerance in honour of themselves and of all female identifying humans and survivors of assault. Our voicenote this week is from the real Woman's Woman and unstoppable talent, Chian Reynolds.

We hope this episode resonates with survivors and gives hope that they are in good company, we are better together!

Have you ever been insecure in a relationship? This week Chess, Minnie and Lyds are discussing their experiences, where they think their insecurities have come from and how they have overcome them. Alongside looking like a super model 😳 who knows what’s real and not anymore.. well we are hear to remind you, a lot of what you are consuming... isn’t real, and if you are feeling a bit low, self esteem or a lot of pressure to be something you’re not, chances are a lot of that may be from social media? When you ask kids what they want to be when they grow up, one of the most common answers is: "Famous". Many see fame as an occupation instead of a bi-product of a career in the public eye. With the #freebritney movement recently being reignited by the New York Times documentary 'Framing Britney Spears', it got us thinking. Not just about Britney, who was a pivotal icon in  Minnie's generation, but also about the fame machine that many people find themselves thrust into. In this episode we talk about the difference between fame and success, and how the media used Britney's personal life like it was a reality tv show. 

Have you ever had sex because you feel it's the easier option than rejecting someone? In this episode we are talking about pressure that sometimes comes with sexual interactions, and when it seems that saying 'yes' is easier than saying 'no'. With a voice note from one of our listeners, we dive in the deep end and share our personal stories and opinions.
