Chris Fitzgerald is a professional poker player and poker investor. Chris grew up in The Bay Area, just a few miles from Stanford, and Sam first got to know him when he was a sports radio broadcaster. Chris started the Cardinal Channel while in High School, and continued broadcasting at The University of Oregon. He spent some time broadcasting professionally in the Cape Cod Summer Baseball League, and for the Washington Nationals organization.

For much of the past decade, Chris has made a living as a professional poker player, so he’s seen his fair share of ups and downs. Additionally, in his role as a poker investor, he’s faced with very complicated management dynamics, especially in a down market. Chris agreed to come on and open up about these experiences.
