Geoff Thompson is a BAFTA winning filmmaker, screenwriter, martial arts instructor, author of 50 books, and 15 of his short films are multi-award winning. He was sexually abused by his karate instructor aged 12, which left him disillusioned and afraid. In this epsiode, we discuss the impact of that ordeal, how he used a fear pyramid concept to systematically dissolve his fears, how working on yourself is the ultimate aim, with references to Eckhart Tolle, and more about Geoff's life. Stories range from how he used creativity and the power of the pen to change his life, experiences working on the nightclub doors as a bouncer in Coventry, and ultimately an encounter with his abuser many many years later - in a tale of forgiveness and universal law. After listening to Geoff on 'London Real', and 'The Magic Minds Podcast', it hugely inspired me, and I'm extremely grateful for this conversation. I highly recommend that you check this out.
(PS. Wifi in Vietnam has been really dodgy - my apologies for the glitches throughout, and especially after 67 minutes! I wrap things up.
