Comics!

It’s the fifth and final look at comics published in the 90’s with a round up of some IMAGE launch books. Are YOUNGBLOOD #1, WILDCATS #1 and SPAWN #1 much better efforts than what McFarlane, Lee and Liefeld were doing at Marvel? Do they use their creative freedom to expand [...]

Acting as a counterpoint to the big guns and big boobs comics of IMAGE, DC launches VERTIGO, for Mature Readers. As far away from Mature as you can get, Andrew and Micheal giggle through the depraved acts of PREACHER:BLOOD & WHISKEY, muse philosophically over the beard stroking antics of A [...]

It’s more clone madness in the 2nd chapter of Andrew & Micheal’s return to the 70’s Clone Saga. See Mr Peter Parker go all the way to France to meet Parisian Super Villain – CYCLONE! Witness the arrival of Gwen Stacy, the Dolly The Sheep of the Marvel Universe. Gape [...]

In an epilogue to Those 70’s Show’s, Micheal & Andrew follow up on the death of Gwen Stacy with a look at the 1970’s original Clone storyline. Before it was a ‘Saga’, it was a simple editorial edict – Bring Back Gwen. Amazing Spider-Man #139 – 142 are the beginning [...]
