Comics!

Back to what we laughingly refer to as “normal” this week as the email section celebrates convalescence. Then Superman has to deal with a DARK KNIGHT OVER METROPOLIS in a 3 part story from Superman #44, Adventures #467 & Action #654 before returning the favour and dropping by Gotham in [...]

In an episode that refused to be contained, Micheal & Andrew spend THREE HOURS discussing Action Comics #544 – Luthor Unleashed & Rebirth, Superman #400 – The Living Legends Of Superman, Superman Vol 2 #10 – The Super Menace of Metropolis and Superman Vol 2 #12 Lost Love. Enjoy this [...]

Micheal and Andrew spend the email section yammering but then the Superman time clock turns to the 70’s with a clutch of classics; from Superman #233, Superman Breaks Loose. From Superman #296 Who Took The Super Out Of Superman?, from Action Comics #484 and from Superman #300 – Superman 2001. [...]

Another E-Mail Section which will lead to talking about comics. Maybe ones you’ve not read. Enter at your own risk. Then, part 3 of HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUPERMAN continues with a clutch of classics from The Swinging 60’s. If you can remember them, you weren’t really there. Tonight: The Untold Story [...]

After an email section that this week takes in discussion about Amazing Spider-Man #700 (So SPOILERS!!! if you haven’t read it), Mike and Andrew take to the 50’s for 4 exemplary examples of four colour fun. Superman tackles the Menace From The Stars from World’s Finest #78, teams up with [...]

It’s here! 3 months in the planning, Hey Kids, Comics! wishes Superman “Happy Birthday” with a look at Superman #1 & #17 and Action Comics #3 & 23.

This time the email really does deal with Bill Robinson and the Italian police. Honest. Then after a discussion about ABBA, Mike and Andrew look at Hellblazer #71, #200, #245 & #275 in part 2 of Farewell, Hellblazer.

After a rather random email segment in which Tootsie Rolls and the Italian Police are discussed, Andrew & Micheal read a stirring send off to John Constantine from a regular listener before looking at Hellblazer #1, #11, #27 and #63 in part 1 of Farewell, Hellblazer.

Avengers Vs X-Men 9-12, A Vs X 6 and various crossovers and tie-ins are covered and dissected as Andrew and Micheal wrap up Avengers Vs X-Men! Was it all worth it? They let you know.

Micheal and Andrew break the internet in half by liking a current Marvel Money Grab, erm, legimate storytelling crossover. As per, there’s a small amount of email silliness and a large amount of complete nonsense. Hey Kids, Comics! Coming in your ears!
