Comics!

Micheal and Andrew whore themselves out to the movies in a futile yet blatantly obvious attempt to get new listeners. Hear! as they address Andrew’s favoured version of the star-spangled Avenger CAPTAIN AMERICA. Marvel! at how right Andrew is about the magnificence of these two chosen stories, Gasp! at how [...]

Micheal and Andrew talk about loads of stuff that isn’t even relevant to this weeks show but eventually they get back on topic and discuss all things JEDI. The comic book adaptation, the novel, the original film and at no point do they mention the special edition. Yet another fine [...]

It’s time for more bad impressions, more bad singing and more bad jokes as Micheal & Andrew look at the final 3 issues of MARVEL COMICS adaptation of The Empire Strikes Back. It’s another slice of highly polished, compactly produced, magnificently researched audio entertainment. Originally released on 31st March 2011

Andrew twists Micheal’s arm up his back and continues with his ode to the magnificence that is the MARVEL COMICS ADAPTATION of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Micheal is wrong about the art, wrong about comic adaptations and wrong about pretty much everything. Which he makes up for by eventually being [...]

Andrew and Micheal continue their epic look at the final three issues of MARVEL’s STAR WARS Adaptation. Along the way, Micheal mentions Grant Morrison (again), the boys celebrate the sheer magnificence that is R2D2 and we plug another STAR WARS podcast that everybody should listen to. Oh, and they extol [...]

Andrew coerces Micheal into spending the next 5 weeks looking at Marvel’s adaptation of the original trilogy. Andrew and Micheal wrap up their coverage of VERTIGO comics with a look at JOHN CONSTANTINE – HELLBLAZER! Dismiss from your mind the awful movie (Andrew wishes he could) and join us on a trek through 4 of the master mage’s most excellent adventures. (Ugh, Keanu Reeves reference!)

Andrew had a bad week at work and also had a terrible head cold so Micheal picked the topic, chose the issues, wrote most of the script, picked the music and edited the whole kit and kaboodle into 1 hour of shiny podcasty goodness for your enjoyment. This week’s theme [...]

Micheal & Andrew discuss PREACHER, the best comic book series ever made! Well, possibly. They look at two of the PREACHER specials, discuss the series in depth and make with dodgy accents. Violence and strong themes are every bit a part of the PREACHER lexicon and this episode, whilst trying [...]
