Breakups hurt. You had all these hopes and dreams tied into this person. You minimally liked them if not had love for them, or loved them very deeply. You spent time with them. You grew to know one another to open up, become vulnerable and trust one another… you shared a chapter or maybe a whole book together. And now - for whatever reason it may be - it’s over - and you’re heartbroken.

It takes a while to come to a state of wanting to detach - then deciding to detach… then accepting it is over - deciding you’re not going to back - and trying to accept what was - what is - and have hope for what will be…..

The hot passion is enticing but emotional safety is so much sexier. Today we are exploring what an anxious attachment style feels and looks like vs. secure. Moving from chasing to self respect, from compatibility and emotional safety over chemistry. Chemistry matters, don't get me wrong, but so does consistency and integrity.

A big question to ask ourselves is how can we find what we are seeking, within ourselves. What traits do you want in your partner, and are you embodying those traits? We often attract old patterns as a test to see if we've evolved. "You can't step into a new future while acting from a old emotional state." Joe Dispenza.

Are you accepting the bare minimum? Are you giving the bare minimum? Are you dating a pattern? Your old wounds? Have you really heard what they said, without romanticizing it, and been honest with yourself to see if that works for you? What is your intuition whispering or screaming?

Are you at a state of inner peace? If you find yourself stressed, anxious, not able to focus - it may be your higher self trying to get your attention that this isn't the right dynamic. To have faith and trust that someone exists out there for you and for them, that is a beautiful match.

Build your own life - and future - dreams - and then your partner is part of your world, not your whole world. Build a beautiful life. Then whether you are in a relationship or not, you're not waiting. You are enjoying life. Living fully. And if and when someone does come in, cherish it, and live a twice as beautiful life.

Whether you're happily partnered, healing from heartbreak, dating, or simply growing into the next version of yourself, I hope this conversation reminds you to trust your intuition, honor your worth, and keep building a life you truly love.

Why does it often take getting sick, losing power, or hitting a wall for us to finally slow down and care for ourselves? In this episode, I reflect on the pressure many of us feel to constantly produce, achieve, and keep going—and how easily we can lose touch with our natural rhythms in the process.

Recently, when the electricity went out, I found myself disconnected from screens, social media, Netflix, and distractions. Instead, I lit candles, made tea, journaled, read quietly, and went to bed early. I woke up feeling deeply refreshed and realized how much my body craves slower evenings and intentional rest.

I also share reflections from the last time I got sick—how suddenly I was making herbal teas, soaking my feet, practicing yin yoga, and caring for myself in ways I often overlook in everyday life.

This episode is an exploration of rest, balance, nervous system regulation, and the dance between doing and being. A reminder that slowing down isn’t weakness—it may actually be part of healing. If you’ve been moving too fast lately, this conversation may be for you 🤍

Sometimes you don’t realize how good you have it… until something changes.

Earlier this year, I experienced an injury that shifted the way I see my body, my life, and the way I move through the world.
