Commander's Brew

This week Sean and Andy build Commander decks primarily based around the recent Tarkir block! Khans, Fate and Dragons - we got em all. Featuring a Zurgo Helmsmasher deck and a take on Shu Yun, The Silent Tempest. Also stick around till the end of the show for a special surprise! The classic MTG tribe of soldiers is this week's focus on Commander's Brew. Andy puts Darien, King of Kjeldor to work while Sean takes a less traditional route with Daxos of Meletis. Sure we have some tokens in these decks but they have some different angles you may not expect! Rate and review us on iTunes for a chance to win prizes! This week we give a little love to the least played colour pair in Commander (according to the fantastic edhrec.com) - RAKDOS! Specifically, we each choose one of the actual Rakdos' to build around. Sean takes Rakdos, Lord of Riots and Andy goes with Rakdos the Defiler. Cut loose, deal damage, party hard and forget about doing anything to enchantments! We lighten things up a bit this week with our very first art-based theme episode: Hot Bodz! That's right its Andy's Babes vs Sean's Hunks in this one. If you're thinking oh, great art based decks? These won;t be any good. WRONG. We've made two playable and working EDH decks on a budget AND on a theme, just like any other week! Rate and review us on iTunes for a chance to win prizes! All you Sultai players and graveyard lovers, this is the episode for you. This week Andy and Sean build around the classic EDH general, The Mimeoplasm. In order to get these decks rolling, you'll need to be milling people, so Sean takes on milling his opponents and Andy takes on milling himself. The Commander's brew is a podcast featuring Canadian Comedy Award winning comedians Sean Tabares and Andy Hull. Each week they both build a different version of a commander deck based on the same theme and talk about it on the show. Listen for new card or deck ideas and for a few laughs!
