She began her career in Northeast Ohio with an unpaid internship for the Cleveland Cavaliers, which turned into a full-time role. She later worked across retail, banking, and marketing before joining the chamber in 2022.

She reflects on the significance of becoming the first person of color to lead a chamber of commerce in Lake County.
