In a surprise announcement, Ron Rivera announced that backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett would get the start vs the Bengals and play about a quarter and a half. The interior of the offensive line that includes Nick Gates, Saadhiq Charles and Sam Cosmi will also play while the rest of the 1st team offense and defense will not play. The Commanders also announced the Capital Crossover in which many Nationals will be honored at halftime of the game against the Chicago Bears.
