Adam was terrified of E.T. as a child. Matthew was indifferent. As adults they're both still bothered, but maybe also a little more appreciative of what this Spielberg classic is going for. Along the way we fixate on just how gnarly E.T.'s physiology is, theorize what the tiny raisin man is really up to, become enraged about yard pizza, make fun of an absent dad character, explain the 80s to each other, and turn against the protagonist! So it's pretty much a normal day for us.
Next month's commentary will debut the day before Halloween, so if you've got anything spooky you'd like us to talk over, feel free to hit us up!
As always, we'd like to thank Laura Cooper of the webcomic XP for our show's art, Bensound.com for our outro music, and you the listener for sticking with us! If you like what you hear, consider subscribing and rating on iTunes, sharing our sampler, or becoming a TWAIkNtributor!
