The title of this podcast episode was posted by an architect (employer) in a Facebook Group (Private) where most of the members are architects. I have permission to quote from them and expand on this issue of the architectural graduate that could not draw architecture in an architectural practice and suggests that this issue is not uncommon, as verified by a number of employers (commenters on Facebook).
My suggestion is that the teaching was not done or not done properly in architecture schools, in a worldwide phenomenon, due to many factors, but I wish to focus on one, where: students are / were not designing manually and get to the point where they could design properly, but prematurely learn design with computer aided tools and shortcuts, hence not able to have the necessary skills in design architecture and fulfilling expectations of that particular skill.
