November 10, 2012Juliette's Kitchen- Red Cabbage SaladWelcome to Juliet's Kitchen. Today we had a well being retreat which is really well and I made a dish which I've got to share with you today. Its so simple and so delicious. It's based on red cabbage. All you need for this is a food processor red cabbage celery lemon and coconut oil. So what I did is I got a cut of red cabbage. It's got 2 stalks of celery. A table spoon of coconut butter and half lemon squeezed in it blended altogether and serve it up. Why is this good? Well red cabbage is amazing for us. It's been shown to have a cancer fighting properties. It's very high in anti oxidants(?). It's high in vitamin E and vitamin A so it's really good for our skin. November 09, 2012Juliette's Kitchen- Chocolate BallsWelcome to Juliet's(?) kitchen it's a beautiful sunny day today and I feel very very blessed because a friend gave birth this morning to a beautiful baby boy and another friend gave birth last week to a beautiful baby girl I am going to make up some things to drop around to them today to help support them and give them energy now these are good for everyone not just people who have just given birth because they help to give you energy keep your immune system up and also hit that chocolate craving so what am I going to do. I'm going to make some chocolate balls in this chocolate ball there's a cup of dates(?) now dates(?) are very good to give you energy they've got lots of natural sugar so they help boost your sugar levels if they feel like they're dropping so this is a great snack about four o'clock when you get that tired feeling there's a cup of cashew nuts in here now cashew nuts are filled with calcium and protein and there's a cup of goadi(?) berries ___....more0minPlay

November 08, 2012Juliette's Kitchen- Chocolate SmoothieHi Welcome to Juliette's Kitchen. Do you ever have those days when you're feeling a bit tired and all you wanted to do is eat junk. Well I'm having of them today. I've got the one year old baby who doesn't sleep very well so sometimes I get quite tired and when I'm tired all I wanna do is eat chocolate. Well there's a way that you can eat chocolate and it not be bad for you so today what I've done is I've made a beautiful chocolate smoothie and it's really hit the spot so how did I make this chocolate smoothie that's ___ well what I did was I used a cup of coconut milk a cup of raw cacao powder and raw cacao powder is filled with magnesium which is great for your heart it also help release a chemical in your brain called anandomine which is a bliss chemical that makes you feel good.
