Many scriptures in Philippians 2 talk about humility, not complaining, & preferring others over ourselves.

Youth Pastor Jonathan Brooks brings a discussion about Joseph and the coat that he was given, and how there are different things that the coat represented. Pastor Brooks also ties the “Coat of Many colors,” it into Jesus. With how we all have a coat that have many colors (baggaged and sin) but there’s a sacrifice by a man named Jesus that covers the coat (in blood) and then makes us white as snow!

Daniel 3 - we love to focus on the outside fire, but can we look at the fire on the inside of us?

Why do we take for granted so often what God has brought us through?

Critical Question:

Is your heart on fire? What caused it to be on fire? As a brother-hood how can we help each other be on fire? Is there such a thing as “being on fire for God.”

How many times daily do we make the little details of life, make us so worried? - if we have fire inside of us, why are the fires of life freaking us out?

If you focus on the internal flame, it turns into an eternal flame, & then an external flame.

- your flame will catch others on fire (Daniel 3:28-29)

Tell Yourself This Story:

Imagine you’re in heaven, & a random person comes up to you & says, “I am only here because you weren’t afraid to talk to me about Jesus.”

What do we deem being on fire looks like:

- Psalm 150 (praising God)

- talking to people that are deeper in knowledge of Christ

- reading the scriptures

If you already know what sparks your flame, I challenge you to dig deeper into that.

What is a step I can take this next week to keep my flame burning?
