In this message, Committed to the Climb, we’re challenged to examine what we’re carrying as we follow Jesus. Many of us aren’t rebellious—we’re tired. Overloaded by responsibility, pressure, and comfort, faith can start to feel heavy instead of life-giving. Through the story of the rich young ruler, we see that Jesus doesn’t condemn sincere people—He lovingly reveals the weight that’s holding them back.

Just like climbers at base camp, there comes a moment when preparation turns into decision. Higher ground always requires a lighter load. Jesus doesn’t say we can’t follow Him—He shows us we can’t follow Him like this. This message invites us to choose commitment over comfort, resolve over hesitation, and an all-in faith with no turning back.
