James 1:2-4; 9-12  Do you view the trials of your life? Did the word "joy" come to mind? In today's study we learn a why God tells us to rejoice in trials. 

James 1:1  At times we allow missed opportunities or past failures to hinder what God wants to do through us today! This week, as we begin our study in James, we meet a man who missed some wonderful opportunities, but he didn't let it paralyze him. Instead it propelled him forward to be a man of great influence in the early church!
