The word of God is the one thing that can stop you from being corrupted.

"For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep."

"Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin."

God's plan for you is better than your plan for you. So trust in the LORD and ask for His guidance.

Don’t allow your rebellion or arrogance to keep you away from the LORD

Unless you love truth, you will never know it. And unless you know the God of scripture you will never fully be settled in your mind about absolutes.

Satan will take your strength and use it against you.

Don't worry about how others see you as long as you are chosen by the LORD.

Learn to use what the LORD has blessed you with. If He has blessed, you with a little be thankful and use that to His glory. And if He has blessed you with an abundance then much is required. But don’t set around and complain that you don’t have as much as the next person. Just be thankful for the blessing He has poured out on you. “God is a Sovereign, and of all attributes, next to his love, God is the most fond of displaying his sovereignty.”
