Raquel Martin, M.S. is from Philly and currently resides in the DMV area. She is a PhD candidate in Medical & Clinical Psychology and a Pre-Doctoral intern at Johns Hopkins, Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. Raquel received her BA in Psychology from Fisk University and is a proud Fiskite. She also earned a MS in Psychology from Lipscomb University, and a MS in Medical & Clinical Psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Ms. Martin's has worked primarily in community mental health with children, adolescents, and families. She has provided services at juvenile detention centers, residential facilities, hospitals, and schools. Additionally, she has worked in private private practice administering psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification. Her research and clinical interests include child/adolescent mental health, psychodiagnostic assessment, implicit bias, trauma, and minority health disparities.
