Welcome to our focus and celebration of public service!  I have tremendous fondness and appreciation for my time in public service and the invaluable lessons I learned about leadership, people, community, and giving back in a meaningful way!

Today, we're honored to have as our guest, Ms. Kendall Johnson.  Kendall serves as Executive Director for the 2020 Census Integrated Communications Contract. Kendall's federal government service spans more than three decades.  She previously served as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on the Census 2000 Advertising Contract and the 2010 Census Communications Contract.  She also worked for the Office of National Drug Control Policy where she served as the Deputy Associate Director for the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign while simultaneously overseeing the media contract for that program.

For someone who was a "reluctant public servant", Kendall has made a positive impact on every government operation she's been a part of.  Listen as she shares key career advice that's applicable to any professional.  Kendall's unique perspective on the fulfillment of public service will energize you to do more!  You feel her passion when she says "don't sleep on public service."
