As people, we naturally seek comfort and shy away from anything that would make us uncomfortable. But yet, when you think about your own life, did the easy/comfortable times grow you as a person? Or was it when life threw you an unexpected curveball that your faith and courage evolved?

There is perhaps no other person in scripture that epitomizes change and growth than Paul. Although his involved extraordinary circumstances, there's much we can take away from it to encourage growth in our lives.

For this week's message we watched a video of a sermon given by Andy Stanley. Politics and contentious elections can be an emotionally charged and sometimes even dividing times for all. This message is an excellent and thought provoking reminder that above all else, we are called to be followers of Christ. That is our identity, not an affiliation with a party or a view. This message is about what that means.
