This episode is all about something I've been going through in life. A friend recently told me that I like to heal in public, so I can share it with all of you. Growing up I didn't have a model for handling conflict and thinking that anger was the worst thing to be. It caused me to avoid conflict, and through communication training, I've learned the natural default is to avoid. Being assertive is something I had to work very hard to become. Feeling these emotions creep up again I realized that I felt stifled and like I needed to yell. I wasn't having the conversations I needed to have and I found myself full of resentment with some of the people I love most.
