Isn't that something that you use in the courts? 

Yes. 

Can you explain that to us?

A prayer is one way to ask for something to petition the court. Your prayer is, it's not used commonly now, but it was. It's been used in the past. And it, it's still is, an accurate legal term. 

An accurate legal term. Where did it put prayer?

In a court. 

Think about that.

And who had the power to answer the prayer?

The judge.
