These communities were diverse and included working class Black and Brown families, as well as indigenous communities. The communities now sit under the Dodger Stadium and you need to hear how this happened. Melissa's own family was displaced by the city of Los Angeles with other families who now are speaking up! No more displacements and gentrification in our communities is what they are fighting for. And, this week marks the one year anniversary of their protest on Dodger Stadium.
