It's easy for us to read the last half of the commandments, identify where we stumble a little, but overall feel pretty proud of ourselves: I've never killed anyone, never stolen anything, I'm good. But these commandments go beyond the surface to get at our heart. First, how should these commandments cause us to praise God? Do we even think of that as a result of these? And second, if God is forbidding these actions towards others, what does He call us to instead?
