This Sunday we were joined by guest speaker Steve Hurd from The Ark Church. Steve encouraged us about the power of an invitation and how one invitation can make a huge difference to people’s lives.

Is it enough to have had a one-off experience of the Holy Spirit we look back to? Alison tells us why we should go on being filled and empowered each day and the difference it will make to our lives and the lives of those around us.

God has adopted us as his sons and daughters but we don’t always live like it. The only way we can is by being filled with the Holy Spirit. Here’s Dan to explain more.

Jesus said that “rivers of living water” will flow from within those who believe in him. He also talked about being born of the Spirit and baptised in the Spirit. From the day of Pentecost onward the Holy Spirit has been transforming the church and individual Christians to move in power for living and witnessing.

On the final Sunday of advent, Ruth shares how no matter where we find ourselves, our greatest hope, Jesus Christ is with us in the midst. And learn about the perils of a Christingle!

Daniel’s life was characterised by an understanding and experience of the heavenly realms, and of God’s eternal kingdom. Trevor ends the series with the reminder that exiles live in the light of eternity.

Being a disciple of Christ requires us to daily make decisions about how we will live. In Daniel 6 we see what Daniel decided to do when faced with a decision that had far reaching consequences. His choice and his actions demonstrated his integrity and faith.

This week Annabelle Davies from Alpha UK joined us to encourage us how we can develop a culture of invitation.

This week we were visited by Ashish Varghese from India who encouraged us that God wants to use the ordinary, humble things that we have in mighty ways for his Kingdom. We just need to be prepared to put those things on the ground.
