Yesterday, we looked at the astonishing truth that, according to God’s love and pleasure, we have been adopted into His family - He is our Father, and we have an eternal inheritance! Today, in this final reflection on these verses, we return to the theme of praise.

Today, we are reflecting on the blessing of adoption; to love God, and to be able to call Him “Father,” is only possible because we have been adopted into His family through Jesus Christ.

In our last study, we saw how God has made us holy and blameless in His sight; today, let’s see that a crucial part of being holy and blameless is that we grow in love - for God and others.

Yesterday, we reflected on the wonder of being chosen by God. Today, we turn to the incredible purpose of that choice: that we should be holy and blameless in His sight.

Last week, we reflected on how, through our union with Christ by the Spirit, we have received every spiritual blessing. Today, I want us to be filled with joy at this foundational truth: our richly blessed condition is because God chose us.
