The LEAP Shop (Learn, Engage, Achieve, Participate) is one of CODA's projects, and it provides a space where people can:

• Generate income that will assist CODA achieve its goals.

Today we are chatting about the "men's shed movement", which originated in Australia in 1998.

There are now almost 1000 "Men's Sheds" and it is recognised as one of Australia's largest male based community development organisations.

But is it an all-male environment?

Tim Lowe has a yarn about his book "Church Burning" which is being launched here in Colac at Cow Lick bookshop at 6.00pm on the 19th February.

Tim is a G.P. and has worked in war-torn Belfast, in Australia as an isolated rural G.P., still works in Aboriginal health, was in Colac for 10 years, then with drug addicts in St Kilda from 2013-2017.

He started writing following some traumatic experiences during this time.

His work in St Kilda was during the time that Royal Commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse was reporting, where he witnessed how this traumatised victims first hand.
