Trying to start and grow a successful business is not for the faint of heart. There are many obstacles on the path to success, and in today’s conditions, with social distancing and much of the economy shut down, many people who have lost their jobs are jumping into the fire out of necessity.
With so much on the line, and with limited funds, the big question is, what should entrepreneurs invest in to create a business that not only survives, but thrives?
Every successful entrepreneur I’ve ever spoken to credits their worth of their network as a foundation for increasing their net worth.
My friend Tobe Brockner knows this too. He is a life-long entrepreneur who I met through an expensive high end mastermind filled with amazingly experienced and knowledgeable people. For both of us, this community of people helping each other was by far the most valuable part of the program.
That experience inspired him to launch the Re:purpose Initiative, a crowd-sourced training and coaching platform for small business owners.
Today we’ll explore the power of community through Tobe’s own life journey, and discover why the Re:purpose Initiative is a game change for anyone looking to start or grow their business.

We all have experiences as humans. No one tells you, teaches you that when you had these experiences that they create a set of beliefs that you hold. And those beliefs affect how you show up in the world. They limit your beliefs and what’s possible for you in your life, and you aren’t even aware of what’s going on.
We feel the thorn but we don’t know where the pain is coming from. Today, we’ll show how you can become aware of your own thorns, and come to a place of choice, and create the life outcomes you truly want.
My friend Phillip Cave is fascinated with our human "people-y-ness". All the things we say, do, think, and emote. Phillip first noticed this fascination when leading humans in his first tech startup where he discovered software is easy, people are "hard". He fell in love with the human condition in that moment. Many years later, Phillip turned that fascination into a life and leadership coaching practice where he "coaches the whole human and mentors the leader within". His client list ranges from startup founders to CEOs of global consulting companies.
If you feeling stuck in any way, or looking to take your life and work to the next level, listen to this interview, take notes and apply the techniques described.

I’m recording this a week into a global shutdown, where the majority of the world is living 24/7 inside their homes, through social isolation, which, for all we know, could go on for months as the world battles the spread of Covid-19. In that context, I’m excited to have today’s guest.
The big question we tackle is, how can we build relationships and stay connected and avoid isolation? What are the impacts to ourselves and the connections in our lives? To our businesses?
Pablo Gonzalez is obsessed with human connection, which he's used to build young professional groups for charities, and be named a Latino Leader of the Future by Latino Leaders Magazine and a Top 20 Under 40 for Brickell Magazine.
He’s now a professional speaker and the founder and Chief Executive Connector at Connect With Pablo, a content marketing and community creation agency, proving that community creation is the future of business development.
You'll discover some real nuggets for networking, for connecting you won't hear anywhere else. This is an incredible episode you won't want to miss.

At a time when there is so much fear and uncertainty in the world due to the coronavirus, nurturing the proper mindset is more important than ever. When you are in fear, you aren’t in control, and everything suffers - your relationships, your productivity, your positive state of mind.
You might think you aren’t in fear, but your body is saying otherwise. There are some simple tests you can do to check in with yourself to find out, and we’ll explore that on this podcast today. We’ll also look at some ways you can get out of that fear state.
My guest, Dr. Chris Lee is a brain based wellness speaker, consultant and proud father. He has taken the power of functional neuroscience to Wall St. Fortune 500 board rooms and schools. His approach to life is to not only show that love, kindness and compassion are the way to live an authentic life but to prove it to you with biofeedback and research.
This is one of the most value-packed episodes we've had on this podcast to date.

The world has changed dramatically in the past week, with governments declaring state of emergencies, closing down schools, restaurants and many other services we’re used to having in our day to day lives.
We’re living our days confined to our houses, which on one hand provides more family time, but will lead inevitably to even more loneliness, affecting well-being and causing health issues.
As an entrepreneur, it’s both a time of challenge, and of opportunity. Many incredible success stories were birthed during an economic downturn. Already, data is showing that people are spending 20% more time online, many looking for a way to earn additional income.
On today’s episode, we’ll explore this context with my guest, Cheri Yazzie. Cheri Yazzie is a multiple six figure business builder, having sold over 2 million online, a speaker, travel junkie, mom, wife & intuitive coach to thousands of people who follow her work online.
Today we’ll dive into how not only to survive, but to thrive in these heavy times. Cheri has used gratitude to improve her relationship with her husband, to achieve financial success, and to improve the way she views herself.

Everything was going great, and then... it happened. That bad news you never saw coming. Your life just took another hit. What will you do about it?
On this podcast, my first solo episode (woo-hoo!) I share with you some really difficult news my son and I went through recently, the loss of a pet, and how we turned tragedy into opportunity, by applying what we've been learning from stoicism. Instead of feeling sad for days, we were able to stay present, face the situation and move on without dwelling on the past.
If you'd like better ways to handle bad news, this episode is for you.

Blake Nubar has generated over $10M in sales and helped thousands of entrepreneurs launch a successful funnel online. He realized early on that do something big, you can't do it all yourself. Every business he's built has been with partners.
We dive deep into the topic of partnerships - how to find an ideal partner, what holds people back from diving in, and how to create the ideal conditions for those relationships to thrive. In the end, it's all about relationships, which are built on trust.
This is one of the most value-packed episodes on the podcast. If you are struggling to grow your business, and don't have a partner, this podcast is a must listen.
