Preparing for the holidays will be a very different experience in 2020. Ami Roeschlein, DSW, MA, LMFT from the National Council for Behavioral Health will provide several strategies for staff to preserve wellness during the holidays. Ami will list some considerations staff should take in mind when preparing patients for the holidays, such as stress from employment status, anxiety from shopping, loneliness from social distancing, etc.. Learning objectives include understanding how to be realistic, planning ahead, and seeking support can help ward the stress of the holidays, as well as identifying the practical habits that you can build to increase the resilience of those you work with and yourself over the holidays and into the next year.
