Title: Leadership Matters - Titus

Theme: When there is no quality leadership, people are in serious trouble. Paul encourages Titus to make sure the leaders are doing their part for the local church. This little letter is packed with principles and lessons that can impact us all.
Key Verse: Titus 3:4-5a (NIV) But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.

Freedom doesn’t mean we can do whatever we want, but it is an amazing gift. This week we’re exploring what freedom in Christ is all about.
Key Verse: Galatians 5:1 (NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Theme: Our legacy isn’t about us. If we do it right, it’s all about Jesus. Paul did it right. This week we see what was important to him as he writes his last letter.

Theme: We all have a responsibility to help next generation. This is especially true when it comes to our faith. You may not be biologically related, but we are a part of God’s family. This week we’ll learn from Paul and Timothy’s relationship and see what we can do to encourage the next generation.
Key Verse: 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Theme: It makes sense that being honest with each other is a good thing. However, even knowing that, many still use lies and deceit in their relationships to get their own way. Seriously, there’s a much better way!
Key Verse: Proverbs 11:3 (MSG) The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin.

Theme: Disrespectful judgments and constant criticism can only be overcome by respectful persuasion and patient listening. Making each other better is not a matter of forcing our way, but working together to become the best version of ourselves.
