But Louisa would be the first to tell you that being kind didn’t always come easy to her. In fact, 10 years ago, kindness was something she didn’t practice, and sarcasm was her norm.

So what changed?

I often hear and see this line: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” And I believe this with all my heart. We get to choose how we show up and respond to what life throws at us.
