The August bank holiday weekend saw the return of the Cinema Organ Society’s Northern Convention featuring several of the area’s theatre organs and a dozen or so organists to entertain on them. Our microphones visited the Stockport Town Hall where RICHARD HILLS provided an excellent programme to show the many nuances of the Queen Wurlitzer so sit back and let’s join the audience.
Following on from that, a first-time visit to the Saltaire Wurlitzer for American star organist MARK HERMAN where, once again, we recorded some musical highlights from his concert there.
