Chairman Fred and party member Mark Clark were murdered December 4, 1969 by a Chicago Police Department death squad, during an apartment raid. We will hear Hampton in his own words, and present analysis of the state sponsored murder of this great Black revolutionary leader.

We’ll also discuss California police use of force bill AB 392. Kimberly withdrew her support of this legislation, after it was watered down by the CA Democrats and the police. Kimberly will provide an update on the Anthony Nunez police murder lawsuit. Anthony, who was unarmed, was shot by San Jose police July 4, 2016 while he was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Our Real Talk segment will feature the campaign launch of New York activist Howie Hawkins, who announced that he will seek the 2020 Green Party presidential nomination. Hawkins’ policy platform includes community control of the police.
