I'm A Star Foundation teen servant leaders came by the show to talking about hosting the 9th Annual Let's Move Jacksonville on Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Klutho Park, located at 204 W 3rd Street. The teens learned their generation (Gen Z) may not outlive their parents because of childhood obesity in 2010. Taking inspiration from Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative, Let's Move Jacksonville calls the community to eat healthy, get active and take action as a whole. Youth in I'm A Star Foundation design the event for ages 1 to 100, with activities including line dancing and square dancing lessons, kickball, flag football, cheerleading, basketball, golf, yoga, soccer, martial arts, boxing, face painting, bounce houses, hula hooping, tennis, walking, fitness workshops, healthy cooking demonstrations, a "Take Action" panel of influencers and more! Pancreatic Cancer – Raymond Penn, came by the show to talk about Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and it’s dedication fighting the world’s toughest cancer. Their urgent mission to save lives, they are attacking pancreatic cancer on all fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy.
