In 2022, Chelsea took a leap of faith, relocating with her family from the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue her dreams of literary expression in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a transplant who has become deeply engaged in the local community, Chelsea not only embodies her commitment to fostering a vibrant, sustainable Chattanooga. She also reveals the Southern identity in all its incarnations in her debut poetry collection, Mud Water Will Rise. With a unique perspective on Southern culture and her love for poetic storytelling.
