Si hay una canción que me trae muchísimos recuerdos de mis inicios musicales, es precisamente Cómo llora una estrella, una canción fantástica que escuché en el primer festival en donde tuve la oportunidad de participar, es decir, el sexto Festival de la Voz Arquidiocesana, en donde tuve el honor de representar a mi colegio, Madre Laura, en ese momento, y el cual marcó mi inicio como músico dedicado y apasionado a este arte tan fantástico.
If there is a song that brings back so many memories of my musical beginnings, it is precisely Cómo llora una estrella (How a Star Cries), a fantastic song that I heard at the first festival I had the opportunity to participate in, the sixth Festival de la Voz Arquidiocesana, where I had the honor of representing my school, Madre Laura, at that time, and which marked the beginning of my journey as a dedicated and passionate musician in this fantastic art.
Esta fantástica canción nos narra cómo un hombre, debido a la pérdida de su amor, ruega por el brillo que antaño ha visto en los ojos de su mujer, al cual se le asemeja el brillo de una estrella, y esto le hace crear esta canción tan hermosa que pertenece al repertorio nacional venezolano y que, sinceramente, es un orgullo poder cantar.
This fantastic song tells the story of how a man, due to the loss of his love, pleads for the sparkle he once saw in his woman’s eyes, which he compares to the shine of a star, and this inspires him to create this beautiful song that belongs to the Venezuelan national repertoire and which, honestly, is a pride to be able to sing.
