This weekend at Compass, we meet Nicodemus, one of the last people you would ever expect to show an interest in Jesus! Nicodemus came curious about what made Jesus so different, but Jesus had another agenda. Join us as we eavesdrop on this conversation where Jesus reveals the secret to life.

In our passage this week, Jesus confronts both the perversion of the system and the blindness of the leaders, stepping boldly onto the religious scene and squarely into the crosshairs of the Jewish leaders. This passage encourages us to make sure our worship is of the sort that pleases and exalts our God and Savior.

In this sermon, we come to the first of seven signs of Jesus that John records for us in this gospel. As we witness this miracle through John’s account, we’ll come ro realize that there’s more at work than meets the eye. In John 2:1-11, we begin to understand more of who Jesus is and what he came to do.
