‘And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

‘And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.’

‘Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go?  thou hast the words of eternal life.’

‘Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:  he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.’

‘Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live’

‘Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?’

‘Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go?  thou hast the words of eternal life.’

‘I and my Father are one.’

‘The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.’
