I’m back! After three years away from the podcast, I’ve decided it’s finally time to pick up the microphone again. In this first episode of Season 2, I talk about what brought me back, a conversation I had with my son Ahmed that reminded me why I started this podcast in the first place, and one of the scariest moments I experienced as his mum in Somalia. I also share a little about everything that has happened over the past three years — divorce, motherhood, rebuilding my life in Kenya, and launching EMDIRA.
