What do you do when God says “no”?We love celebrating open doors, answered prayers, and new opportunities, but sometimes God’s greatest “yes” is hidden inside a closed door.In Acts 16, Paul was doing something good. He was ready to preach the Gospel, yet the Holy Spirit stopped him, not once, but twice. Paul didn’t argue, negotiate, or force the door open. He simply kept walking. What looked like rejection was actually redirection toward a greater assignment.That redirection led Paul to Macedonia, where Lydia encountered Jesus, a slave girl was set free, and a prison became the setting for chains to fall and an entire household to experience salvation. What began with two closed doors ultimately impacted generations.Maybe you’re standing in front of a closed door right now. In Acts 15, the early church faces one of its first major doctrinal conflicts: Is faith in Jesus enough for salvation, or does something need to be added?As Paul and Barnabas confront the teaching that Gentile believers must follow the Law of Moses to be saved, the church is forced to settle a foundational truth of the Gospel: Jesus + nothing = salvation.In this message, we unpack three important truths from Acts 15:• Don’t add to what Jesus finished. What walls have we built that are keeping us from God's purpose?In Acts 10, we encounter one of the most transformative moments in the early church. Through the story of Peter and Cornelius, God reveals a powerful truth: the gospel was never meant for one group of people, it was always meant for everyone.The Jews were called to be a blessing to the nations, not separated from them. Yet over time, being set apart became being isolated. What was intended to reflect God's holiness slowly became a wall of division.But Jesus came to tear down every dividing wall.**Big Idea:** *The walls that keep us from God's purpose are built one brick at a time, but God can tear them down one brick at a time.*In this message, we explore four bricks that often build barriers in our hearts:🧱 **Brick #1: Assumptions***"I've already decided."*Peter assumed Gentiles were unclean, outside of God's plan, and beyond His reach.
