When is the last time you've sat and weeped for God? When is the last time you tried to understand how hurt God is about the world? We see him as a fairy God mother and and personal servant and he is none of those things. He is our father and he makes sure our needs are met on the daily. Create a time and space for the Lord in your schedule, and don't ask for anything physical just say "Lord what is it you want me to know about you today"
