This sermon from 2 Kings 4:38-44 reveals the Lord as the faithful Provider and Preserver of His people. In the midst of famine, God removes danger, multiplies what seems insufficient, and faithfully sustains His covenant people. These miracles point beyond Elisha to Jesus Christ, the greater Prophet and the true Bread of Life, who alone can satisfy the deepest hunger of the human soul. As we face our own needs and trials, we are called to trust God's Word rather than our own wisdom, depend upon His providence, and rest in the abundant grace of the God who always provides what His people truly need.
