Let's be honest and get down to the particulars. Donations and grants keep the doors open for every nonprofit. I'm sure every nonprofit board member and executive is looking for that one donor to make it rain millions in their bank account. It only takes one, right?!
One generous philanthropist and/or foundation can cut a check with an absurd amount on it and change the trajectory of an organization's future. However, that's not going to happen overnight. From foundation searches to high-level networking, nonprofit executives are looking for those individuals without hiring a private investigation company. The goal is to have them be attracted to you as well, which is also known as compassionate giving.
